About Me

I am a London-based artist, specializing in landscapes who works mainly in acrylic but I also use wax pastel and collage on occasion.

I have spent four summers working at Centro D'Arte Verrocchio in Tuscany, where I worked both in the studio and outside, plein air, painting directly from the landscape. I like to combine strong drawing and painting with expressionist colour, to give mood and emotion to my pictures. I am inspired by the heat and contrast of the Tuscan countryside. The saturated colours that I use evokes the the bright sun and clear skies of Italy.

If this work appeals or you are interested in a particular piece of artwork, please drop me an e-mail.  You can also contact me for more information and to see other work that I have done.

I am happy to undertake a commission: if you have something specific in mind, let me know. (Prices usually vary from around £250 - £800.)

Work is usually supplied mounted on archive quality mountboard and framed. If you would prefer work unframed, again, contact me, and we can come to an arrangement.
